STAR OF THE MONTH:

ITS BACK FOR 2019! Star of the month is something our academy does each month to recognize students giving their all in class, working hard, turning up on time and in the correct uniform/meeting the grooming standards of our school. All of the teachers discuss each month about their classes and we collectively decide on one student who will receive the “STAR OF THE MONTH” prize. We find that its a wonderful way to reward students and boost confidence, work ethic and motivation in classes. The prize consists of a bag of goodies, certificate and we award each of the stars of the month with a trophy at our end of year awards and presentation evening (dates on this coming soon) they also get a post and a blog written about them by the principal, Miss Lauren.
Our January 2019 STAR OF THE MONTH we have awarded to Lachlan Hine!!! CONGRATULATIONS AND WELL DONE LOCKIE! We are all so proud of you! Don’t forget to read the blog about Lachlan which you can fine on our website. Click Here

EASTER FAMILY FUN DAY:

Every year we usually have an easter disco to celebrate the end of term one and the school holidays however this year we have found it difficult to hold discos on the Friday evenings as we used too as our classes on Fridays now don’t finish until 8.30pm. BUT DON’T FEAR WE HAVE SOMETHING EVEN BETTER PLANNED!
On Saturday the 6th of April 2019 instead of a easter disco we will be holding an easter family fun day! We will have a jumping castle, a disco and games inside the studio for the students, face-painting, free easter slushy on arrival and an easter family movie. This promises to be an amazing and fun day for all our dancers and a great way to wind down and socialise together after an amazing first term!
DATE: SATURDAY 6TH APRIL 2019
TIMES: 10AM-1PM
COST: $15 PER CHILD – all money raised will go towards our fundraising goal of $30,000 for a new studio space

We hope to see you all there!

FEES:

Just a reminder that all fees should now be paid in full OR on a payment plan that has been authorized by Luke. If you are still to pay fees please arrange payment asap to avoid your child being unable to dance. luke.leacademy@gmail.com
